"EvenKeel Lounge is the newest best-kept secret on San Francisco's famed Fisherman's Wharf. Tucked into the newly renovated Pier 2620 Hotel, this comfortable lounge offers an approachable taste of Northern California's finest offerings."

SAN JOSE, CA, December 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Designed to meet the needs of today's leisure and business travelers, EvenKeel Lounge staffs a full service bar, complete with a small bites menu, and invites guests, locals and tourists alike to sip, savor and swirl 16 world class wines in taste, half, and full glass from four Napa Technology WineStation systems.

Twelve of the wine offerings constantly rotate to highlight California's famous wine selection. Each month the lounge features a "winery of the month" in one of the four-bottle WineStation dispensing and preservation systems. The staff sells flights and interacts with patrons in a way that emulates a winery tasting bar experience.

"Northern California's climate is an agricultural mecca, consistently producing some of the highest quality wines in the world. At Pier 2620 Hotel, in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf, we welcome guests from all over the world who can now sample some of the premier wines our region has to offer," shares Alexandra Shimizu, Food & Beverage Manager. "The bar boasts four Napa Technology WineStations which will preserve wine in peak condition, allowing us to feature bottles from the foremost wineries in the state."

Pier 2620 Hotel takes advantage of other WineStation features. Gold and Platinum iPrefer members receive a wine card for use in EvenKeel Lounge, and the hotel offers all guests with lap level access to the WineStation with the ADA Universal Access Module.

"Napa Technology's mission is to develop technology that makes a good glass of wine more accessible to consumers and provide tools for operators that make their businesses more profitable and efficient," said Jayne Portnoy, Vice President, Marketing and Brand Strategy at Napa Technology.

About Napa Technology WineStation
Founded on a common passion for good wine, Napa Technology was formed in 2005 by Nick Moezidis, Morris Taradalsky and Jeffrey Brooks. The group combined decades of business and technology experience to create WineStation, a unique, cutting-edge product that would ultimately change the idea of simply serving wine to skillfully providing business solutions.

WineStation is the world's first intelligence-based, automated, temperature-controlled wine dispensing and preservation system. The product delivers a "just opened" taste experience for up to 60 days once the bottle has been uncorked and provides product controls that maximize the profitability of each bottle.

In addition to maintaining the quality of each bottle of wine poured, the software that accompanies the WineStation allows businesses to track sales and use that data to manage their wine inventory.
